Prescriptions
Require a prescription?
To order a prescription, you can choose one of the following ways:
Online : Select any of the repeat medications listed in your file and “submit request”. There is a blank box for you to type in the name of any other medication you wish to request.
By telephone: 01292 264260 and select option 3 for prescription ordering.
In person: Hand in the right hand side of your prescription ticking the items you need, or fill in a prescription order form at reception.
Whichever method of ordering you have selected please allow 2 working days for us to process your request. A prescription may not be given for an item that is not listed on your current medication list.
Pharmacy Collection Service
Several of the local chemists offer a daily collection service – please let us know which chemist you wish you prescription to be sent to. In some cases the chemist can also deliver your medication to your home – we understand there may be a charge for this service. Your chemist will be able to advise you.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a pharmacist, a doctor, or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. You will be advised when the last repeat issue is ordered to book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
