Information for Trainees
The Fullarton Practice has been recognised as a training practice since 2003 and has a record of providing high quality, positive training experiences to GP trainees.
We have 2 GP trainers – Dr Dunne, with other partners currently undertaking trainer’s training. As a GP trainee, you can expect a warm welcome from all of our staff team, tutorials with experienced members of staff and a supportive learning environment that encourages you to develop the wide variety of skills required as a GP. As testament to the positive experiences of our GP trainees, we have *3 former trainees currently working as GPs at the practice. As part of the Ayrshire and Arran training programme, you will receive structured day-release teaching fortnightly and will attend 2 residential events during your ST3 year with other ST3s and their trainers. These events give you valuable mock-CSA practice, exploration of curriculum topics that can be difficult to cover and the chance to socialise with local GPs.
