MBCHB MRCP Dundee 2004
I graduated from Dundee University in 2004 and then moved to Glasgow where I completed my post graduate training in general practice. Shortly after completing my GP training, I moved to New Zealand where I worked as a GP in Gisborne, on the East Cape. I moved to Ayrshire in 2011 and I have worked in Ayrshire as a GP since 2017. Prior to this I was a GP in Glasgow.
I have an interest in paediatrics and women’s health and I am keen to get involved with the teaching programme within the practice.

MB ChB (Glasgow 1983) MRCGP DRCOG
I joined the practice in May 1988 when I replaced Jimmy Walker. In the 1990s we acquired additional premises at 18 Fullarton Street due to the expansion of staffing and various contract changes affecting General Practice. In October 2002 we moved to our current purpose-built premises. During this time I have continued my interest in Chest diseases, Dermatology and Minor surgery and been the lead Trainer since 1995.
General Practice has changed dramatically in the time that I have been in Ayr and bears no resemblance to the computer-free, paper-heavy system of the 1980s.
Away from work I continue to try to improve my golf and tennis but not always successfully.
I usually work all day Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and Wednesday and Friday mornings.
